Darryl V. Pratt has over fourteen years experience in corporate and business law transactions, estate planning, asset protection planning, probate, guardianships, real estate, taxation, and bankruptcy law. He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. Pratt focuses his practice on business transactions, estate and probate, and bankruptcy matters and is a regular speaker on a variety of business planning and estate planning, asset protection, tax, bankruptcy, and real estate law topics. Mr. Pratt is a member of the Collin County, Denton County and Dallas County Bar Associations and the State Bar of Texas (Member, Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Estate Planning and Taxation Sections), the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, American Bar Association (Member, Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Estate Planning and Taxation Sections), the North Texas and Dallas Estate Planning Councils, the Dallas Chapter of the National Council for Planned Giving, the America Institute of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Pratt is admitted to practice law in all courts by the Texas Supreme Court, and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas; and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Pratt was recently named as a “Texas Rising Star” “Super Lawyer” by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics magazines.

Mr. Pratt started Darryl V. Pratt, Attorney at Law, PC in 2002 which focuses primarily on bankruptcy, estate planning, probate, business law, tax and real estate law. In addition to serving as the Managing Partner of Darryl V. Pratt, Attorney at Law, PC, Mr. Pratt is also "Of Counsel" to WalkerBright, PC where he lends his transactional knowledge to their clients.

He currently serves on the board of directors for the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center and the Prestonwood Foundation.
